How to cook meatloaf with egg in the oven:

Hard-boil the eggs, cool and peel.

Wash the meat and dry it with napkins to remove excess water. Clean the chicken and pork from films and fat, cut the fillet into small pieces.

Pass the meat through a meat grinder with a fine grid. In the same way, chop one onion and a clove of garlic.

Pour milk into the minced meat. Thanks to it, the meatloaf with an egg inside in the oven will turn out juicy and tender.

For flavor, add spices and salt the minced meat to taste. Add a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs; they will help hold the minced meat together so that the roll holds its shape well.

Let me tell you how to wrap a meatloaf with an egg in the oven so that it holds its shape well and does not fall apart. Carefully lifting the edges of the foil, wrap them inward, forming a roll. The eggs should remain in the middle of the product. Using hands soaked in cold water, secure the seam.

Now we will tightly wrap our workpiece in several layers of foil so that the roll holds its shape well. We'll make a few holes in the top with a toothpick so that steam can escape through these holes while the meatloaf is cooking. Place the dough on a baking sheet and place it in the oven at 200 degrees.

After an hour, the delicious meatloaf with egg in the oven should be completely baked. Carefully remove the pan from the hot oven. Carefully unfold the foil. Brush the roll with the remaining sunflower oil and return to the oven for another 10 minutes until golden on top.

We clean the boiled chicken eggs from their shells, rinse under running water to remove small fragments along with a bunch of green onions and dry the eggs with paper kitchen towels to remove excess liquid. Now we proceed as desired, cut each egg lengthwise into 2 halves, leave them whole and cut into rings up to 1 - 1,5 centimeters. Regardless of your choice, transfer the prepared ingredient into a deep bowl.
Then shake the greens over the sink to remove excess moisture, place the green onions on a clean cutting board, chop finely, transfer to a deep bowl and add to it 1 kilogram of minced meat “Assorted”. Cut off the paraffin rind from the hard cheese, place it on a cutting board, cut into cubes with a diameter of up to 1 centimeter and transfer the crushed dairy product into a deep plate. We also put on the kitchen table all the spices indicated in the recipe, salt and 1 egg.

Step 2: form meatloaf with egg and cheese.


Drive into a bowl with minced meat and onions 1 chicken egg without shell, add a little salt, all the spices indicated in the ingredients and mix the mass with a tablespoon until smooth.

Check the temperature of the oven and if it is hot up to 200 degrees Celsius, We place the form with the still raw roll in it on the middle rack. Bake the roll for 40 - 45 minutes until fully prepared. Thanks to the oiled paper, the roll will in any case be covered with a golden brown crust, and the meat will be baked more efficiently.
After the required time has passed, remove the form with the finished meat product from the oven, holding it with a kitchen towel, and place it on a cutting board previously placed on the kitchen table. Using a kitchen spatula, remove the roll from the container, transfer it to a large flat dish, let it cool slightly and then remove the baking paper from it. Then cut the roll into large portion pieces up to 3 - 3,5 centimeters, arrange on plates and serve hot for dinner, lunch or breakfast. Or cool the roll to room temperature, cool it in the refrigerator and serve it on the holiday table as an appetizer instead of sausages.

Meatloaf with egg and cheese is served hot for dinner or breakfast as a main hot course, and also for lunch as a second hot course. This delicacy can also be savored cold as an appetizer on the holiday table.

Hi all. As a change, instead of making regular cutlets, you can make meatloaf. A minced meat roll with an egg is prepared in the oven; it holds its shape well, does not fall apart, and will also serve as a wonderful decoration for any holiday table.

I am posting a simple recipe with photos. Basically, many people prepare a minced meat roll with an egg inside, but instead of eggs you can use any other filling - it could be mushrooms, spinach - basically, whatever you want.

We will need:

0.5 kg. minced meat

1 onion

2 small loaves of white loaf

First of all, we need to hard boil the eggs. This is if you chose eggs as the filling for the roll, and not something else.

While the eggs are boiling (by the way, quail is also suitable), we make minced meat, I usually cook it like cutlets, nothing special. I grind the meat with onions and garlic in a meat grinder, add squeezed stale bread, pre-soaked in water, salt, pepper and add one raw egg. I mix everything thoroughly.

Peel the onion and chop it finely. Add to the minced meat and mix everything again.

Take a baking dish and cover it with foil. Grease the foil evenly with vegetable oil. For meatloaf, I advise you to use a rectangular baking sheet. Next, put our minced meat on the foil and distribute it over the entire surface of the baking sheet so that we get a rectangle. Place peeled boiled eggs in a row on top of the center of the minced meat. Even before this, I put chopped greens in the middle for beauty.

Now with the help foil, roll the minced meat into a roll. First we bend it from one side to the middle, then overlap it on the other. We leave the seam on top so that the juice does not come out, but remains inside. We also pinch the edges on both sides. See photo.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • Minced pork – 300 g;
  • Minced chicken – 300 g;
  • Hard cheese (Poshekhonsky) – 70 g;
  • Chicken egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves;
  • Breadcrumbs – 5 tbsp. l.;
  • Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • Khmeli-suneli – 0.5 tsp;
  • Seasoning for minced meat – 1 tsp;
  • Hot red pepper – 3 pinches;
  • Ground black pepper and salt.

Cooking time: 65 min.

How to cook minced meatloaf with egg and cheese in the oven

1. Place minced pork and chicken (preferably homemade) into a bowl and mix. If it does not contain onions, then add 1 small onion, which we first grate or chop in a blender bowl.

2. Add the egg, seasoning and salt (3 pinches).

3. Pour the crackers into a bowl and add the cloves of garlic that have been passed through a press.

4. Mix the mixture well, beating the mixture on the bottom of the bowl 3-4 times. This way the minced meat will become fluffy and retain its juiciness during baking.

5. Grate the boiled egg and cheese coarsely, chop the parsley finely, and place everything in a bowl.

6. Add mayonnaise, mix and the delicious filling for the roll is ready.

7. Pour oil (1 tsp) onto a piece of baking paper, distribute it by hand and place it on the work surface.

8. Place the meat mixture on the prepared paper and knead evenly with your fingers into a not very thin layer. Turn on the oven at 190 degrees.

9. Add the egg filling in the middle of the layer and, moving away from the edges, distribute it.

10. Supporting the edges of the paper, cover the filling with minced meat on both sides.

11. Seal all the edges, turn over and make the meatloaf the same thickness. It will be more convenient to form it if your hands are wetted in water.

12. Wrap the meat loaf in paper, wrapping the ends of the paper. This way, when baking, the dish will cook evenly and retain all the juices inside. There will be no need to wash dishes. Transfer to a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 45-50 minutes. There is no need to open the dish; the minced meat in the oven under the paper will be evenly covered with a brown crust.

13. Take out the delicious aromatic meatloaf with egg and cheese and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
