Herpes folk methods. Treatment of herpes with folk remedies quickly and painlessly

Despite the fact that pharmacies offer many antiviral drugs, treatment of herpes with folk remedies still remains popular. Many natural products have a detrimental effect on the virus, and the disease recedes.

Recipes

Folk remedies are very popular because it is believed that their use is much safer than the use of pharmaceutical products: they are easy to make at home, they have few contraindications, and there are almost no side effects. Traditional medicine recipes offer not only remedies for external use, but also various infusions and decoctions for oral use.

Many folk recipes are based on the use of medicinal plants, so if you are allergic to pollen, you must carefully select the raw materials used. If the patient decides to treat herpes with folk remedies, it is better to consult a doctor who will recommend the appropriate one.

Essential oils

You can use essential oils to combat rashes. Some of them are used in their pure form, for example, peppermint oil. A cotton swab with a few drops of oil applied to the affected area will help cope with the virus.

Tea tree oil has good antiviral properties. The folk recipe for treating herpes is as follows: mix 1 part of this oil with 3 parts of olive oil. Using the same recipe, you can prepare a product from eucalyptus oil.

  • How to use ?

Aloe

To treat herpes, you can prepare a medicine from aloe leaves and honey. Agave juice (1 tbsp) is mixed with the same amount of honey. The mixture not only relieves unpleasant symptoms, but also prevents the growth of bacteria.

To treat herpes, you can prepare a tonic. To do this, finely chop an aloe leaf, pour boiled chilled water (250 ml) into it, leave for 2 hours, strain.

Tonic is a good way to wash wounds that form in areas of rashes.

Garlic

The simplest folk recipe for preparing a medicine for herpes is garlic gruel. Use a press or fine grater to chop a clove of garlic, wrap the mass in gauze and apply to the area affected by herpes.

If there are no rashes, but you already feel itching and burning, you can use a faster method: cut a clove of garlic into 2 parts and rub the juice on the inflamed area of skin.

A good folk remedy is garlic oil. To prepare it, grind 2 cloves of garlic and 4 tablets of activated carbon, add 1 tsp. honey

Calendula

Traditional medicine recommends using calendula (medicinal marigold) to get rid of the symptoms of herpes if the facial skin is affected. Calendula contains flavonoids, carotenoids, and calendula, which have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and healing effects.

To treat herpes, you can prepare a calendula tincture. This will require 2 tbsp. l. crushed flowers, pour 100 g of vodka, leave for 2 weeks. The strained solution can be used to wipe sore spots or taken orally - 20 drops per day.

To prepare the decoction 2 tbsp. l. dried flowers are poured with a glass of boiling water. The mixture should be boiled for 5 minutes, allowed to brew for 5-6 hours, and strained. The decoction is used to wipe diseased areas of the skin and take it orally.

To prepare the ointment, grind the dried flowers of the plant (you can use a coffee grinder for this) and mix them with petroleum jelly in a 1:1 ratio.

Vitamin teas

Vitamin teas are an essential component of traditional treatment. They help strengthen the immune system, which is so important in the fight against herpes. They can be prepared from various medicinal plants:

  • rosehip;
  • ginger and cinnamon;
  • sea buckthorn;
  • viburnum;
  • cranberries;
  • lingonberries.

To make tea, you can take one plant or a mixture of different ones. 2 tablespoons of herbs or berries are poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 10-15 minutes. If dried raw materials are used, it is better to grind them first.

You can prepare a good decoction according to the following folk recipe:

  • 40 g of viburnum berries pour 400 ml of boiling water;
  • leave for 4 hours;
  • strain.

An excellent antiviral remedy is a decoction of viburnum.

This remedy will not only serve as an antiviral drug, but will also strengthen the immune system if taken regularly.

Celandine

Traditional healers advise lubricating the affected areas with celandine juice. The recipe for its preparation is simple. The shoots and leaves of the plant should be crushed (for example, using a meat grinder), and the juice should be squeezed out of the resulting mass. Let the juice brew for 7 days under a tightly closed lid.

Tinctures are prepared from celandine - alcohol and water. The first is made from crushed herbs and alcohol in a ratio of 1:3. Infuse for 10 days in a cool place. To prepare an aqueous tincture, finely chop the celandine, pour boiling water over it, hold in a water bath for 15 minutes, and strain.

Propolis

Traditional healers advise preparing a tincture of propolis (bee glue). To do this, keep propolis (80 g) in the refrigerator for about 10 hours, then grind it and add water. After 10-15 minutes, drain the water and dry the propolis. Pour the prepared raw materials into a glass jar, add alcohol (100 g), leave for 2 weeks. The tincture can be taken both internally and externally.

Egg

Treatment with folk remedies is also carried out using a chicken egg, which contains many vitamins and minerals that are beneficial to the human body.

To treat herpes, it is allowed to use fresh hard-boiled chicken eggs. If a rash appears, apply the shell film to the affected area and hold it for several minutes.

A good folk remedy is an egg with vodka. You should boil an egg, peel it, put it in a glass, fill it with vodka to the edge of the container, and put it in the refrigerator for 3 days. After this, you need to eat the egg and drink vodka. The procedure is repeated 3 times.

Salt

There are 2 traditional ways to use salt:

  1. It is necessary to apply several salt crystals to the affected area of skin several times a day. Salt has a drying effect and disinfects the skin. This is a painless method, but the treatment takes longer.
  2. Saline solution. To prepare it, you need to boil 100 ml of water, add 1 tbsp. l. salt, stir. Cool the solution, after which it can be used to wipe the affected areas of the skin. The product can be used every 2-3 hours.

Treatment

It is best to use folk advice at the first symptoms of herpes. If you start treatment on time, you can avoid the stage at which blisters begin to appear.

During the period of treatment with folk remedies, you should give up bad habits and you should not eat a lot of sweets. And lean meat, milk, fruits and vegetables must be present in the diet.

On the lips

For the treatment of herpes on the lips, the following remedies are suitable, almost always available in the house: crystals of table salt, aloe or Kalanchoe juice, a clove of garlic, essential oil, etc. If you start treatment at the first sign of a rash (swelling on the lip, itching), you will get rid of the disease possible in 1-2 days. You should take vitamin decoctions and teas.

On the face

To treat herpes on the face, you can use toothpaste, which should be applied in a thin layer to the rash.

A good folk remedy is alcohol tincture of calendula. It is useful to have in the house for different occasions. If a rash appears, soak a cotton swab in the tincture and wipe the affected area with it. Don’t forget about strengthening your immune system: you can brew rosehip or currant tea.

Before our eyes

If you have ophthalmoherpes, you should use folk remedies with caution. It is better to use them only under the supervision of a doctor.

Rosehip decoction is suitable for washing the eyes. A compress with juice squeezed from dill will help relieve swelling. You can put drops made from honey and water in a 1:2 ratio into your eyes. Potatoes chopped on a coarse grater will relieve burning and pain.

You should not use folk remedies that contain garlic.

For internal herpes

Internal herpes is dangerous because it destroys the body from the inside. The patient needs to take fresh juices from vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, which strengthen the immune system. Folk recipes will also come to the rescue: tinctures of medicinal herbs (celandine, viburnum, tansy), vitamin teas, decoctions.

The virus, once in the blood, spreads to all internal organs. Traditional methods of treatment will help restore the functioning of the affected organ if diagnostics are carried out and pathology is identified.

It is impossible to remove the virus from the body. Only the aggravation is relieved.

For shingles

The cause of this disease is herpes zoster. Folk remedies will help get rid of itching and relieve pain. You can lubricate sore areas of the skin with white cabbage juice. This method is suitable for both adults and children.

A soda-salt solution effectively fights rashes, but it is not suitable for a child. The product is prepared from salt and soda mixed in equal quantities. Add a little water to the mixture: you should get a pasty mixture. It should be applied to the affected areas 2-3 times a day.

Genital herpes

Genital herpes (HSV type 2) manifests itself as rashes on the external genitalia and buttocks. The virus must be treated, otherwise it will spread to the internal genital organs.

You can prepare an ointment from celandine and honey. Both components in equal quantities must be mixed until smooth. The mixture should be wiped over the affected areas 3 times a day.

Prevention

Strengthening the immune system and a healthy lifestyle are prerequisites for preventing the development of pathology. In case of exacerbation of the chronic form of the disease, it is necessary to take medications in accordance with the doctor’s prescriptions and resort to traditional medicine methods.

Such simple rules will help you forget about the herpes virus for a long time, because everyone can reduce the risk of developing exacerbations.

It is impossible to get rid of herpes forever; you can only prevent relapses by strengthening your immune system.

In children

In children, herpetic rashes occur as often as in adults. Treatment with folk remedies is recommended to be used only after consulting a doctor. The choice of such products should be taken carefully if the child is allergic to plant pollen.

During pregnancy

A woman should especially carefully monitor her health while expecting a child. If a pregnant woman experiences symptoms of herpes, she should consult a doctor to choose the right course of treatment. During this period, pharmaceutical drugs can cause harm to the fetus, so treatment of herpes with folk remedies is chosen. Although this is not a quick cure, it does not cause harm.

Herpes is a so-called “cold on the lips”, a rash on the skin. You can often find lesions in the nose, mouth and throat, as well as herpes on the genitals or other parts of the body. Sometimes there are single pimples that are caused by this virus - they are usually large in size and hard to the touch.

The cause of herpes is a microorganism – the Herpes Simplex virus. According to statistics, 90% of the world's population is affected by this virus.

The herpes virus spreads throughout the body during the first infection. After this, it settles in the nerve endings forever, and it is still unknown how to get rid of it forever. However, not all people have active herpes.

Only in 20% of those infected with herpes will it reappear periodically. It is very easy to become infected with the virus - it is transmitted through contacts of mucous membranes, when using shared utensils, even by airborne droplets.

Typically, the body's immune system itself successfully suppresses active manifestations of the herpes virus, the so-called rashes or single “herpes” acne. However, when it is depleted, the herpes virus manifests itself. This usually happens during a cold, flu, after depleting the body with diets, skin damage from sunburn, during severe stress conditions, during menstruation.

So the most reliable way to get rid of herpes will be hardening, warm clothes in the cold season, staying in the fresh air for 2 hours a day, a normal healthy diet and healthy, long sleep at night. But if it does make itself felt, there are many ways to get rid of it - both in traditional medicine and in folk medicine.

How to cure herpes at home

Today, the simplest and most reliable way to get rid of herpes is the antiviral drug Acyclovir. It comes in tablet form; be sure to take the full course from start to finish.

It acts quite quickly, within one to two days, reliably eliminates the appearance of herpes within one to two weeks after administration, but at the same time it has a number of contraindications. Therefore, many people use alternative remedies to treat herpes.

It is traditionally believed that you can remove herpes on the lips with the help of garlic, earwax, toothpaste, fir oil, and some other means. All of them can be divided into two groups - drugs that have an analgesic effect, thereby relieving irritation and allowing the immune system to act more “relaxed”, and drugs that directly help destroy the herpes virus at the site of the lesion.

  1. Garlic;
  2. Earwax;
  3. Toothpaste;

They refer to agents that help destroy the virus directly.

Garlic is known as a classic antibacterial agent. They use it by rubbing herpes rashes and taking it internally. If herpes is accompanied by a cold, garlic will also fight it.

The disadvantage of garlic is an unpleasant odor, which will be felt quite strongly after rubbing. To minimize it, it is recommended to use green garlic leaves rather than cloves of garlic - they do not give such a strong fumed garlic aroma, but only a light garlic aroma.

Earwax contains some of the body's own natural antibodies. In some cases, rubbing it helps reduce the intensity of rashes, although in general the remedy is ineffective.

Toothpaste contains fluoride and many other active chemical elements, which in themselves are quite strong antibiotics. The product is quite effective, but can cause irritation and itching, which will contribute to even more rashes.

  1. Fir oil;
  2. Valocordin;
  3. Valerian;
  4. Balm “star”;

These drugs are emollient drugs.

Fir oil contains many essential oils and resins, which, penetrating into the pores of the skin, not only eliminate pain, but also have some antiviral effect. Fir oil helps relax nerve endings and normal functioning of the immune system, which begins to fight the virus itself.

Valocordin or Corvalol also has a relaxing effect. Some people use it externally. However, it will be much more effective to use it internally, as a drug to relax the central nervous system and promote healthy sleep. This will be more effective in fighting herpes than rubbing with Valocordin.

Valerian and motherwort tincture are used for the same purpose - they have a relaxing effect on the nervous system and strengthen the immune system in general. This will be especially effective when herpes appears as a result of stress or menstruation. Herpes “lives” in nerve cells, so by taking care of the normal condition of your nerves as a whole, you strengthen their immunity and effectively fight the disease.

Popular methods of treating herpes can be seen in this publication.

What to do if you need to quickly remove herpes on the lip

There is a simple folk remedy that allows you to quickly remove herpes on the lip in a short time. In some cases, it can give a good result, but not for long. To do this, take two tablespoons of flour, chop two cloves of garlic, and mix all this with a tablespoon of coffee and two tablespoons of honey. The composition is thoroughly mixed and applied to the affected area.

Then it is allowed to dry, and after that it should fall off freely as a crust. Afterwards it is applied again, and so on until the acne almost completely disappears. Usually several procedures over eight hours are enough.

Another remedy that helps get rid of the disease, albeit within 24 hours, is zinc ointment. It is applied to the affected areas, without removing it in any case. It quickly removes acne and rashes, as well as redness on the lips and nose. It is recommended to rub the areas affected by herpes as little as possible, and lubricate them every 3-4 hours.

Treatment of genital herpes with folk remedies

Genital herpes appears as a result of the Herpes Simplex virus type 2. It is characterized by a longer period of rashes, in some cases they can even be chronic.

Prevention methods are the same as for herpes simplex - strengthening the immune system, avoiding hypothermia, excessive irritation of the skin during contact, normal nutrition and healthy sleep. The drug Acyclovir in tablets also helps most effectively against genital herpes.

For chronic genital herpes that does not want to go away, “provocation” can help - drink one and a half liters of beer before bed, then apply herpes treatment as usual. At first, the manifestation of the disease and its active phase will intensify, then you will have a greater chance of getting rid of it.

When treating genital herpes, herbal baths are effective. A bath with plantain decoction, bath salts and pine needle extract helps well - the effect is the same as for fir oil.

Rashes on the genitals are usually more sensitive than on the lips, so to treat them it is better not to use products and ointments that irritate the skin, such as celandine and garlic. On the contrary, the use of emollients, such as zinc ointment and fir oil, will be effective and painless.

You can also recommend taking valocordin orally or valerian in drops or tablets. To relieve nervous tension during menstruation, colds or stress, it is recommended to use Ibuprofen or Nise tablets. Some people benefit from a small dose of alcohol - about 50 grams of cognac with honey or vodka with honey before bedtime, but for those for whom alcohol is contraindicated, it is better to refrain from this method. You should also refrain from ointments based on honey or other sweet substances - you will almost certainly provoke thrush by using them.

Natural antibiotics

Natural antibiotics are used to treat herpes. These are means that allow you to destroy the disease at the root. The simplest of them is garlic. Applied to the skin using honey ointment, it stays on it for a long time and affects the causative agent of the disease with its phytoncides - natural chemicals that attack viruses and bacteria.

The second remedy that can be recommended as a natural antibiotic is celandine. It is a slight irritant to the skin and should be used with caution. Used like garlic, as part of a honey-based ointment.

Aloe. An excellent remedy for fighting not only herpes, it grows in flower pots. Can be used both internally and externally.

Plantain, coltsfoot, tansy are also effective natural antibiotics. Used mainly for genital herpes for baths.

Honey. It is no coincidence that most herbal ointments against herpes are made based on it. It has long been used as a disinfectant.

There are also a lot of other natural antibiotics that are less effective in the fight against herpes - eleutherococcus, wild rosemary, wormwood. It is best to use them as additional remedies if all else fails.

A practically healthy person extremely rarely suffers from rashes in the form of herpes or its other manifestations. On the contrary, if a person is weak, the herpes virus will always manifest itself in full force. Therefore, to combat it, it is most effective to support the immune system.

Both classical and traditional medicine agree on one thing: normal nutrition and a healthy lifestyle are necessary to maintain immunity. Eat more fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, take hot liquid food - soups, borscht, various cereals, avoid large amounts of fatty foods, eat in moderation - you will always feel good.

The second aspect of maintaining immunity is good healthy sleep. For good sleep, you should limit your time in front of a computer or TV screen in the evening. On the contrary, it’s better to read a book, listen to music, or, which will be very good, go for a short jog outside. Your nervous system reacts very strongly to information from the monitor - especially if it is some kind of active computer games focused on violence, and all this should be avoided not only before bed, but in general.

It is very good to practice acupressure to maintain immunity. Chinese and Japanese medicine adhere to slightly different massage techniques; you can learn more about them on other resources. Moreover, in order to learn how to treat various diseases with acupressure, you need to practice for many years, and not everyone will be able to do this. However, everyone can master the simplest points near the sinuses, behind the earlobe, on the foot under the bone near the Achilles tendon and on the hand also near the bone from the inside.

The most reliable way to strengthen the immune system is not to harm it. Therefore, try to get rid of bad habits, such as smoking or systematic drinking of alcohol. It is also necessary to dress according to the season - do not experiment with short skirts and stockings in the cold, or wrap up in the summer. The body should feel comfortable in any weather.

Traditional medicine says: “Keep your head cold, your stomach hungry, and your feet warm.” For the prevention of herpes, this is 100% effective. Your feet should be kept warm; this will save you from colds, which are caused by herpes.

When indoors or on public transport, try to take off your hat. This way your head won't sweat and won't freeze when you go outside and put on your hat again. And in food, adhere to the following rule: never eat your fill - you should always feel like you want to eat a little, it is important to stop in time. Remember - excess food affects the immune system more than its lack.

    For 15 years I had frequent relapses of ocular herpes (ophthalmoherpes, herpetic keratitis). Treatment on an outpatient basis and in an inpatient eye clinic did not help and relapses of keratitis continued. Dripping aloe and honey into the eyes did not help either. Then I paid attention to a natural antiviral remedy - garlic, which in folk medicine is used to treat herpes on the lips. Direct injection of garlic juice into the eyes is not possible due to severe burning and irritation of the eyes. By experimenting on myself, I found that garlic can be safely introduced into the eyes through the skin of the eyelids of closed eyes by wetting them with garlic juice diluted with water (Administration of drugs through human skin (transdermal route) is known in medicine, but is not used for the eyes). Garlic phytoncides enter the eyes through the skin of the eyelids and prevent the proliferation of the herpes virus. There is no burning sensation in the eyes and they remain calm. I use the following recipe for garlic tincture: A clove of garlic is crushed over a tablespoon; the juice and gruel are placed in a 30 or 40 ml bottle of liquid medicine and filled with a tablespoon of boiled chilled water. The shelf life is 3-4 days when stored at room temperature and up to 10 days when constantly stored in the refrigerator. After preparation, the tincture can be used immediately; infusion (the release of garlic juice from the pulp) will occur during storage. Close the open neck of the bottle with your finger, shake and moisten the eyelids of your closed eyes with what remains on your finger. Wait 1.5-2 minutes for the liquid to be absorbed into the skin and repeat wetting the eyelids. During one procedure, several drops of tincture are consumed, which contain a microscopic amount of garlic, which does not pose a danger to the eyes. For complete safety, after wetting your eyelids, it is enough to keep your eyes closed for 1.5-2 minutes so that the eyelids dry. With a microscopic amount of garlic contained in a few drops of “tincture” consumed in one procedure, there is no odor. To prevent relapse of keratitis, I moisten my eyelids with garlic tincture DAILY at least 3 (3-6) times a day. When signs of a relapse of the disease appear (this happens 1-2 times a year), I carry out this procedure after 1 hour during the day and after 2 hours at night. Acting in this way, I have been living without relapses of keratitis for 18 years, successfully repelling attempts at relapses that continue to this day. I was lucky in that the corneal opacities after all the keratitis occurred on the periphery of the eyes outside the pupil zones and did not affect my vision. Many years of daily use of garlic did not affect my eyelids or eyes in any way - I have normal skin on my eyelids and normal vision. There are posts online from other people who have successfully used this method.

Herpes is one of the most common diseases, affecting 90% of all people on the planet. Once it enters the body, it will settle there forever. Some people do not even know about the presence of this virus in their body, since it never appears outside, while others regularly encounter its manifestations.

This virus infects a cell in the human body and literally integrates into its genetic apparatus. There are plenty of ways to become infected with herpes: it can happen through sexual contact, airborne droplets, and even through a harmless handshake or household objects.

Despite the fact that almost every one of us carries the herpes virus, about 60% of those infected do not even suspect it, because their disease does not manifest itself in any way.

For the rest, herpes shows itself as soon as the immune system weakens a little. Reasons for this may include:

  • hypothermia or overheating;
  • alcohol abuse;
  • stress;
  • infectious diseases.

If herpes manifests itself in the form of inflamed blisters no more than 5 times a year, then this is normal and there is no need to worry in this case. If this happens more than 5 times a year and rashes occur not only on the lips, then this is a serious reason to contact an immunologist.

Scientists have already identified as many as 8 types of this virus. The most common are the first three:

  1. Type I: herpes of this type is manifested by rashes in the form of blisters that appear on the mucous membranes of the nasal and oral cavities, on and;
  2. Type II: usually manifests itself as an inflammatory process on the genitals;
  3. Type III: May cause chickenpox or shingles.

As a rule, herpes makes itself known in advance, and redness, itching, a slight burning sensation and a tingling sensation appear at the site of the future rash. Treatment will be most effective if it is started already at the stage of the appearance of these precursors.

Treatment with folk remedies

One of the most effective medicines is all kinds of folk remedies for herpes. The combination of folk recipes with pharmaceutical drugs will not only do no harm, but will also significantly speed up the healing process.

You just need to do the following:

  1. Crush the garlic or grate it.
  2. Place the resulting pulp on gauze and make a compress from it.
  3. Apply it to the sores or even attach it with an adhesive plaster.

This method can be greatly simplified - just cut a clove of garlic in half and rub one of the halves on the bubbles that have popped up, generously lubricating them with garlic juice.

Treatment with sulfur

This is an unpleasant, but nevertheless very effective way to treat the manifestations of herpes. Plus, you don’t have to go far to get the medicine—it’s right there in your ears.

You just need to remove a little wax from your ear and lubricate the bubbles that have popped up with it. Many people speak very positively about this method, claiming that it helps after 2-3 procedures. It will work most effectively at the very first signs of rashes appearing on the lips.

Treatment with toothpaste

Traditional methods of treating herpes can be quite unexpected, for example, using toothpaste. Everyone also has this product at home, so it is possible to immediately begin treatment at the first sign of a rash.

Many people are probably perplexed - how can you cure herpes with toothpaste? But in reality everything is simple: to do this, the bubbles need to be lubricated with a thin layer of paste. While it dries, the sores will dry out along with it. It should be applied regularly until the sore turns into a dry crust and falls off along with a layer of paste.

Use of aloe in treatment

The healing plant aloe can also help get rid of herpes. You need to use it as follows:

  1. Cut a small piece of aloe leaf and peel it.
  2. The juicy pulp of the leaf should be applied to a cold for just a few minutes.
  3. Cut the aloe piece again to freshen the cut.
  4. Apply the juice of the plant generously to the sore area.

You can keep a piece of aloe on a “cold” longer by sticking it with an adhesive plaster and thus turning it into a compress. This folk remedy will quickly eliminate unsightly sores and restore the skin.

Using soda

Soda is another simple aid in the fight against herpes, which can be found in the kitchen of every housewife. The beneficial properties of soda have long been used in folk medicine, and herpes can be treated in several ways.

First way:

  1. Dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda in hot boiled water.
  2. Soak a cotton pad in the resulting solution and apply it to the sore as a compress.
  3. Once the compress has cooled slightly, dip it into the solution again until it is hot and apply it again to the affected area. This must be done until the water becomes cold.
  4. After such procedures, a thin film of soda will remain on the sore, which needs to be washed off only after a while.

Second way:

  1. Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on the affected area.
  2. Leave for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Rinse off the baking soda with a cloth soaked in warm water.
  4. Lubricate the affected area with moisturizer.

Along with baking soda, salt works just as effectively - you can sprinkle it on a cold in the same way. Sea salt works best.

Traditional medicine offers another rather unusual way to treat herpes - using a film removed from the inside of a raw chicken egg.

This film should be placed with the sticky side on the affected area of the skin and worn all the time. If it has dried out and wrinkled, you just need to wet it a little - and it will straighten out again and lie evenly. Slight discomfort, twitching and pain in the area of the cold are a good sign that indicates that the product is working.

Alcohol tincture of propolis

Alcohol tincture of propolis can be bought at any pharmacy, and this product can also help quickly tidy up the affected areas of the skin. Just soak a cotton pad in the tincture generously and apply it to the sore. This should be done every two hours, and 5-10 minutes after each time, lubricate the affected area with a rich cream.

Traditional treatment with onions

Onions are another available remedy for treating a cold that has popped up. Simply cut the onion and apply the juicy pulp to the affected area. When the onion dries a little, you can cut it again and apply it again. This will not allow the virus to develop further and will quickly dry out the popped pimples.

Treatment of herpes with herbs

Folk remedies for the treatment of herpes also involve the widespread use of various medicinal herbs. Celandine, string, wormwood and oregano work best against herpes. From herbs or herbal mixtures you can make useful tinctures and decoctions that will help in the fight against illness.

Important! When using herbs, do not forget that you always need to monitor the dosage and observe how the body reacts to a particular remedy. Some plants contain poison, and their use must be strictly dosed. For example, if you overdo it with celandine, you can cause severe poisoning. However, when used wisely, this herb is very beneficial.

Echinacea

Herpes can be cured quite quickly with Echinacea tincture. This is one of the most worthy alternatives to antibiotics, which fights herpes no worse than tablets. Echinacea has an antimicrobial effect, relieves inflammation, quickly heals wounds and promotes the regeneration of new skin to replace damaged skin.

You can buy the tincture at the pharmacy and take it in a ratio of 2 teaspoons per glass of water.

Calendula

Calendula is most often used to treat skin diseases, boils, etc. Its second name is marigold. It is their flowers that contain a large amount of useful substances.

To prepare the tincture, you need to take 2 tablespoons of crushed flowers (you can buy them at the pharmacy) and pour 100 grams of them. vodka. You need to infuse for exactly 2 weeks, after which you can use it by wiping the sore spot with the resulting infusion. The tincture can also be drunk - just take 20 drops 2-3 times a day.

If you don’t have time to wait 2 weeks for the infusion to be prepared, you can prepare a strong decoction of calendula. Just pour boiling water over the dried flowers and leave for several hours. After this, the decoction can be used to wipe off the cold that has popped up.

Chamomile

Chamomile effectively heals herpes, soothes inflamed skin, relieves itching and pain, and draws out pus. Dried chamomile leaves need to be poured with boiling water and left for 3 hours. After this, the resulting decoction can be applied to the inflamed areas or taken a tablespoon 3 times a day.

Chamomile tea will help strengthen the immune system, make it more resistant to viruses and infections, and therefore significantly reduce the risk of getting a cold again.

Treatment of illness with essential oils

Herpes can be quickly treated with folk remedies using essential oils. Possessing antiviral and antibacterial properties, they perfectly fight the herpes virus and effectively eliminate its manifestations.

The following oils are most useful in this case:

  • tea tree oil;
  • bergamot oil;
  • fir oil.

By mixing 4 drops of bergamot oil and 2 drops of tea tree oil with a teaspoon of vodka or alcohol, you will get a healing solution that can be used to lubricate herpes blisters several times a day.

You can also simply soak a cotton ball in fir oil and apply it to the sore spot several times a day until the sore goes away.

By the way! You can make healing baths with essential oils by simply adding a few drops to warm water. With the help of such baths you can treat cold blisters that pop up on the genitals.

Prevention

It is impossible to get rid of herpes forever, because if this virus once enters your body, it will remain there for life, waiting for an opportunity to remind itself.
However, you can prevent the infection from getting out, and then you will never have to suffer from the unpleasant manifestations of herpes. For prevention you need to follow a few simple rules:

  • strengthen your immune system - eat plenty of vitamins, prepare healthy and fortified herbal and berry infusions, play sports and exercise;
  • avoid stress, try to sleep and eat well;
  • avoid hypothermia;
  • get rid of bad habits and stick to a healthy lifestyle;
  • observe the rules of personal hygiene.

If you have already encountered manifestations of herpes more than once and know exactly where unpleasant rashes begin, try to start treatment at the earliest stages, when the first signs in the form of itching, burning and tingling just appear. At this moment, treatment has the greatest effect, and, knowing how to treat herpes with folk remedies, you can easily prevent the appearance of an unpleasant sore without wasting time and money.

Herpes is an unpleasant disease, but it can be completely under your control. If you take care of yourself and your health, you will forget about it for many years. If the sore does pop up, you can always quickly get rid of it with the help of traditional medicine. But if herpes manifests itself more than five times a year, you have a serious reason to consult an immunologist.

A viral disease characterized by the formation of grouped painful blisters on the skin and mucous membranes is called herpes. The inflammatory process is facilitated by a number of factors: a decrease in the body’s protective properties, acute respiratory viral infections and infectious diseases, hypothermia, stress, changes in the woman’s immune system before menstruation, alcohol abuse. Symptoms also include swelling and redness of the affected area. Sometimes the clinical picture is supplemented by a slight increase in temperature and general weakness.

Herpes is classified according to the location of inflammation. There are eight types in total, but the most common are simple or type 1 (rash on the lips) and genital, type 2. No less common are shingles (herpes zoster) and those affecting the oral cavity. When the disease occurs regularly, it is called recurrent. Complications of the disease can be quite serious, up to the penetration of the virus into the brain structures with the further development of persistent pain and neuritis.

Traditional medicine cannot offer ways to guarantee getting rid of the virus. The drugs presented on pharmacy shelves work to eliminate symptoms, thereby improving a person’s quality of life. Representatives of traditional medicine tell how to get rid of herpes using folk remedies, that is, without the use of drugs.
