Nautical style clothing is one of my favorite techniques for summer. And no, it's not just a vest! :-)
Initially, this style arose as a wardrobe option for a resort holiday.
History of maritime style in clothing
Many fashion historians call Great Britain the birthplace of maritime style. As a sign of pride in their invincible fleet, the British wore clothes similar to the uniform of sailors. These clothes could be very simple and comfortable (like a sailor's uniform) or sophisticated and elegant (like a ship's captain's uniform).
Later, the style became extremely popular among aristocrats and spread far beyond the borders of Great Britain.
In 1913, Coco Chanel opened her boutique in the city of Deauville on the French coast, and at the same time excited the elite public of the city with her appearance. The great rebel went to the beach in a knitted skirt, a striped sailor suit and a small straw boater hat.
Since then, the marine image has been used among designers for a hundred years without losing its relevance.

- the optimal combination of elements for a casual suit is a set of blue or white trousers with a striped T-shirt;
