When passing the legendary game “Stalker - Call of Pripyat” we will have to visit an underground laboratory and find in it documents for moving along the main storyline. It is enough to find at least one copy of the documents and leave the X8 laboratory outside. But give us everything! Unfortunately, all documents are not so easy to find. In the article we will describe in detail the location of all documents in this dangerous laboratory.

Issuing a quest to search for documents in the X8 laboratory.

The quest is issued automatically after completing the task of finding documentation for the gauss gun. We hurry from Zaton to Pripyat, go to the building of the Yubileiny KBO.

How to get into the X8 laboratory?

There is only one way to the laboratory - the elevator, but it is de-energized. Near the elevator lies the corpse of Barchuk, in his PDA there is a note that the generator is on the top floor of the building, but the road there is blocked by zombies and fanatics of the Monolith. We make our way up the flights of stairs, destroy all the enemies on the way - you will need good weapons and a lot of ammunition. Some spans are littered with collapsed slabs, so you will have to wander around the building in search of a way out to the roof. But we don’t need to go to the roof itself, although we can find good artifacts there among the electrical anomalies. We need to go to the generator room, just above the elevator. We approach the generator and press the “Use” button - the generator is activated! Now you can go down to the elevator to the first floor. We go into the elevator and press the button on the panel - we are in the laboratory.

How to find documents in the X8 laboratory?

In the laboratory we activate our entry card. If we have successfully completed the “One Shot” quest, then we will have a red key card for the arsenal in our inventory. We immediately turn right and open the door with this card - we take weapons and first aid kits.

1st document We search like this: from the entrance to the laboratory we go left, we go into the computer center. There is a Tesla anomaly flying there; it cannot be killed. We carefully let the anomaly pass us by and, running downstairs, we take the first copy of the documents from the table and run back, closing the door behind us. You can go back up the elevator, the quest will already be completed, or you can stay and look for the remaining parts of the documents.

2nd document We search as follows: from the entrance we go right again - we see signs: canteen and laboratory. We go down to the laboratory, where the floor is filled with a layer of water, we see there a model of the “Rainbow” emitter; on the shelves next to it there will be a second document. Let's take him.

3rd document We find it this way: we rush to the dining room, snorks are walking around there - here the shotgun makes the difference. We jump into the hole on the floor, we see a document on the table, we take it. We climb back up the stairs.

4th document lies in the dining room. When we climbed the stairs, we find ourselves in the dining room. There you can hear a child crying - it’s the burer. We just take the documents from the table and when the burer comes out to attack us, we cut him with a knife.

5th document lies on a table near large tanks, not far from the room, the floor of which is flooded with water.

6th document harder to find. From the dining room we hurry to the elevator shaft. Our task is to get from the elevator shaft along the stairs to a floor that we could not reach in any other way. We jump there from the stairs and see three burers in the room. We kill them with grenades or a knife. We take the last document from the table. We just have to leave the laboratory, but the controller will block our way. The door from the laboratory will be closed until we kill him - the grenade launcher decides here.

Completing the quest and reward.

We report the results of our search to Colonel Kowalski. There is no reward for the quest, as this is the main storyline that we need to unravel. But the supply of ammunition, first aid kits and weapons found in the laboratory will be our reward.

Target: The information points to the central laboratory under the index X8. The mission is not easy. There may be information about secret experiments conducted in the Zone.

Walkthrough: We go to the Yubileiny KBO. We take with us in advance as much ammunition, first aid kits and bandages as possible. They can be obtained from a technician or a physician. On the first floor we approach the elevator, it is de-energized, we need to turn on the generator. We go up the stairs. There are many living creatures on the indicator. As we move to the top floor, we break through, killing the crowds and... On the fifth floor near the elevator you will find Barchuk's PDA, which says that the generator is located on the sixth service floor. We start the generator, go into the elevator and go down to laboratory x8.
We exit the elevator and open the door using the yellow key card. Right there, on the right, there will be a closed door with the sign that no outsiders are allowed to enter. This is where we need the red key card. We open the door, inside there is a whole cloud of weapons and medicines. We go into the classroom, on the path of the electrical anomaly, go down the stairs, on the table lies a blue notebook with notes about the experiment. We take it to the entrance. We go to the canteen, on the way you will meet a couple - it’s too early to be scared.
We go up the flight of stairs and go into the dining room. You can hear a child crying... You will find (!) in the men's toilet on the right. Do not forget to monitor your stamina, otherwise you will be left without a weapon. At the end of the room you will find research documents. We return to the entrance again. Let's go down to the laboratory. But we don’t turn left down, but go up the right stairs. There will be flying there, which always bothers me personally, but at that time I had a GP37. There will also be an RP-74 machine gun, useful in some cases. Now let's go down to the laboratory. Next to the model of the “rainbow” aggression suppressor on the shelf you will find another document. A total of three documents.
Be careful, in one of the rooms with documents there are documents that can easily drive you into subtle anomalies. In the room with two large barrels, there will be a transfer order on the control panel, and a little further on there will be an anabiotic - in my opinion, a very useful thing when there is no shelter from the release nearby. Now we go down, go into the right elevator shaft and go up the stairs, when we see open doors on the floor we jump there. There will be three Burers in the hall. Here we get only 7-6 rounds of ammunition and there are no burers. Well, then you take the two remaining documents. And two more anabiotics.
Now, just as we got here, we return - by elevator. Yes, I almost forgot. It will still be necessary to kill. As soon as you get out, run to the base to Kowalski’s laundry for a face-to-face conversation. In total, you should have 6 docks with you from laboratory x8.
By the way, advice - on the roof of the Yubileiny KBO, you can find two artifacts. But I only use them as a way to earn money. And since by the end of the game I had 240 thousand rubles, I stopped hunting for them.

The main character of the modification is a certain tramp nicknamed Klim. Klim arrived in the Zone not so long ago, but with a slightly different goal: he was attracted not by searching for artifacts, hunting mutants or fulfilling various orders, but by the desire to solve a long-standing mystery that radically changed his life. Before the disaster of 1986, Klim lived in the town of Chernobyl-1, where, by chance, a few days before the event, he became the owner of information about an accident at the station, which was to occur in the near future. And then he learned that this could happen again two decades later. Possessing this data, but not really understanding how to treat it, Klim’s family still left the city. And after some time the predicted event happened. And 20 years later, a second cataclysm occurred, leading to the formation of an anomalous Zone. This prompted Klim to return to the once abandoned territory and try to understand the reasons for what happened.

Walkthrough guide

At the start of the game, we see a cutscene where the main character of the modification, Klim, falls under the control of the controller and is almost doomed, and then a shot is heard. We take out a knife, kill the controller and lose consciousness.

After which we come to our place in the stalkers' bar and talk with Skif and what happened to you. In the conversation, Skif tells us that we need to go to the Bartender and take a task from him.

On the first floor of the bar we find the stalker Stepanych and talk to him about the task. After receiving the task, we go to the point specified by him.

Having reached the point indicated on the map, we find a squad of stalkers and speak with one of the leaders of the squad and move towards the anomaly. Having reached the anomaly, we watch the cutscene, collect artifacts and go back to the bar. We hand over the task to Stepanych and go to our old apartment.

In one of the rooms in our apartment we find documentation from 1986. We take the documentation, read it, and a request for help from a certain stalker comes to us at the PDA.

Having reached the stalker nicknamed Baron, we talk to him and take away his PDA, after which we take his swag and move to the bar, to the technician.

Before we go to the technician, we talk to a strange stalker named Falcon and take from him a task in which we need to transfer Falcon’s weapon to some stalker in a bar called Khmur. As soon as we give him the gun, a task appears to spy on Khmury.

Having reached the technician, we give him the PDA and go to the bar.

We report to Skif about what is happening and he says that we need to contact a certain KGB officer.

Behind the bar, near the garages, we find KGB officer Guevara and talk to him about the case. After the conversation, we receive from him the device, documents and pass and move to the shelter.

Having reached the Mercenaries' shelter, we speak with the guard at the entrance and go inside. There we install a listening device near the tables. After installing the device, we go up to the first floor and there we search the cache with a note on instructions from Stepanych.

Having collected the contents of the cache, we go to Stepanych’s bar. We give him the documents and receive a reward. After which we go to Guevara.

We report to him about the completed task and he says that he will contact us as soon as he has information. Let's go to the technician.

Having reached the technician Shaiba, we receive a message on the PDA and he asks us to come to an old, abandoned church.

Having reached an abandoned church, they shoot us in the back with an SVD and we lose consciousness. We woke up to Skifa and he told us about what happened to us. After the end of the conversation, we notice that Khmur began to move.

Having followed Khmury, we get to the church, where he atones for his sins and asks to kill him. We kill him and, if necessary, take his equipment.

After killing Khmur, we tell everything to Falcon and he disappears. After that, we go to Skif and tell him about this story.

After everything that happened, we go to the leader of Duty and ask for help. He says that he agrees to help and gives the coordinates of his squad near the northern supply base.

We get to the point we need and speak with the leader of the squad, Rook. We kill the supply base guards and storm the base. After the end of the assault, the controller enters the base. We kill the controller.

After killing the controller, we report to Rook and go to storm the shelter.

After clearing the shelter, we go to the bar and talk with Vintorez there. He asks you to help him kill one stalker. But first, using special equipment, you need to calculate the location of this stalker and then eliminate him.

Before leaving the bar, we talk to the stalker near the garages and agree to help him.

In the village at the top of the tower we install a special device and get the coordinates of that stalker. But before we kill him, we run to help our stalker, who asked to kill his zombified friend. We kill the zombified one and run to kill the stalker on a tip from Vintorez. After eliminating two enemies, we go to the bar. We tell Vintorez that his enemy was already zombified. He gives us a new task, in which we need to find a map of the zone with all the marks. Before leaving the bar, we tell the stalker near the garages about the murder of the zombified man and receive an artifact from him as a reward.

On the second floor of the church, we take a map of the zone with all the marks in our backpack and go to Vintorez’s bar. We give him the map of the zone and go to Pripyat.

In Pripyat we are met by the Monoliths, we agree to cooperate with them and set out with them. Having reached the anomaly, we begin to look for artifacts in it and an explosion occurs. After which we discover that the Monoliths are dead and go to their leader.

Having reached Prometheus, we speak with the leader of the Monolith in Pripyat, nicknamed Borlanda, and tell him the whole story. After which he gives us the task of killing a certain stalker who climbed into Pripyat.

Having reached the Laundry, we discover that it is Skif. We talk to him and agree that Skif needs to hide. We return to Borlanda and report to him about the completed task. After which he gives a new task. We need to pick up some documents at the Yubileiny KBO.

Having reached the Yubileiny KBO, we take the documents from the safe.

We took the documents and met our missing technician Shaiba, who shot us in the back with an SVD.

At school we talk to Guevara and tell him about the situation.

After which we receive a task about a meeting with the detachment. We get to the marked point and there we meet the stalkers we know: Vintorez, Sherlock and the bartender Stepanych. We talk to them and go to the marked point near the Laundry. There we notice that the monolith, under the leadership of some Mercenary, is being killed alone.

We follow the Mercenary and he leads us to the hospital. We kill him and take the artifact from the backpack. Having taken the artifact, we begin to hear the call of the Monolith.

Having reached the point marked in the CCP, we go to the Chernobyl NPP.

At the station we speak with Thor and then they lead us to shoot. Before ending the conversation, we buy a grenade from him. And our friend Skif must kill us. He says goodbye to us and tells us where the teleport leading to Pripyat is.

We run towards the teleporter but do not jump towards it. We kill the guard standing near the teleport with a grenade and take away his weapon. After which we kill all the other Monoliths.

We take the documents from Thor's desk and read it. Then we get out through the teleport to the other side of the station.

There, with the help of dexterity and a bolt, we make our way through the anomalies and go out to Pripyat. In Pripyat we talk with Stepanych and go to the hospital.

We quietly make our way into the hospital and we receive a new task, according to which we need to inspect the second floor of the hospital.

On the second floor of the hospital we meet Borlanda and talk to him. After which we get out of the zone through the buffer zone.
