ADVICE FOR USE
In order to draw serum into a pipette, you need to lift the cap with the pipette to allow air to enter the vial. If closed, it will be difficult to draw serum into the pipette due to the high viscosity of the liquid. If you are using White Vita C serum, then for maximum results it is recommended to use this serum together with the product from Manyo Factory Skin Renew Vita E Ampoule.

Skin Renew Vita E Ampoule contains vitamin E, which promotes cell regeneration, has a lifting effect, gives skin elasticity, improves blood circulation, actively moisturizes dry skin, lightens freckles and other pigmented rashes.

Vitamin C and vitamin E work by complementing each other. Vitamin C converts vitamin E (tocopherol) into an active antioxidant form, that is, vitamin C stabilizes vitamin E, which is easily destroyed, and vitamin E enhances the antioxidant effect of vitamin C. SKIN RENEW VITA E + WHITE VITA C – THIS IS MAXIMUM PROTECTION, EFFECTIVE WHITENING, BRIGHT AND HEALTHY SKIN! Hello!
Today I want to review products, or rather serums with vitamin C, that I have used over the past two years. I’ll tell you about the ingredients, the action, and whether it’s worth spending money on them at all.

Let me start with the fact that vitamin C must be chosen - a lot depends on its form, its concentration and the correct pH.
Previously, I wrote in detail about vitamin C

I'll start with Sesderma Liposomal Serum C-Vit - liposomal serum with vitamin C.

The serum is a whitish, slightly gel-like substance, very pleasant and light. I would like to point out that the brand’s liposomal serums are almost all the same in texture and feel. And one more thing - they are used up in one fell swoop, 30 ml is enough for literally a month and a half, at least the ones I had behaved this way.
The serum contains vitamin C in a stable form of ascorbyl glucoside, encapsulated in liposomes. Also contains mulberry extract, hyaluronic acid and peptide-stimulator of the synthesis of components of the intercellular matrix Syn-coll.

The serum is excellent, well tolerated, does not cause any burning or irritation. Revitalizes the skin, makes it uniform, evens out color and texture, moisturizes well at the time of application, bringing a feeling of coolness. I personally don’t see any bleaching. Overall, an excellent product, if not for one thing - it contains alcohol, which I personally try to avoid.
And today the serum costs about 4 thousand, which is expensive considering its consumption.
You can read a couple more products from the brand
In general, I love the brand and, perhaps, in the future I will purchase vitamin C in ampoules with 12% content in the form of l-ascorbic acid. I buy Sesderm from the Spanish website dermofarma.es, there are good offers for sets, delivery costs 9 €, but, in my opinion, there were some problems with VAT deduction.

Medik8 CE-Tetra - antioxidant serum with vitamin C and E

This is an oil serum. It contains jojoba oil, two silicones, cyclopentasiloxane and cyclohexasiloxane. Next comes stable vitamin C in the form of tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which, according to the manufacturer, is 7% in the serum and is equal in strength to 28% of vitamin C in the form of LLA. Also vitamin E, copolymer - film-forming agent and fragrance.
The serum is intended for ages 40+, although these are conditional values for dry, normal and redness-prone skin. It is easy to apply, but at first glance it may seem that 4 drops, as the manufacturer advises, are not enough - jojoba oil clings to the skin.
To my regret, this serum did not suit me - by the end of the first week it gave me painful red subcutaneous skin, especially on my cheeks. I tried two approaches to it, but in the end it all ended the same way - acne, and the second time they appeared literally three days later. I didn’t see any effect on wrinkles or pigmentation.
In general, things didn’t work out for me with the brand. You can read about two more products from the brand, a serum with 0.3% retinol and a moisturizer. There is zero effect, I am very dissatisfied with the brand, I feel sorry for the money and wasted time.
I bought it for fillets, but I don’t see this brand there.

Martiderm Proteoglicanos FPS - ampoules with proteoglycans and vitamin C 5%

The product in ampoules is a thin and greasy milk with a not very pleasant smell. It is applied easily, distributed quickly, absorbed, in my case, without a trace, but within 15-30 minutes, in the morning it is inconvenient. It did not cause any negative effects, except for the moment while it is absorbed - there is a feeling of a sauna on the face, while the serum may tingle, and the face may itch under it.
It contains an unstable form of vitamin C - l-ascorbic acid, of which there is 5%. The ampoule is designed for 2 times of use, it can be stretched longer, especially since there is really a lot of money for two times, but the vitamin here oxidizes quickly, so there is no point in saving.
As a result, the skin with this serum is not bad, tightened, reflects light and in general, I liked the serum, but I did not repeat it, although it hid the pigment well for me. Full review you can read it.
I bought it where I bought Sesderm.

Timeless 20% vitamin C + E + Ferulic Acid Serum - serum with vitamin C, E and ferulic acid.

The serum is a clear liquid, but slightly oily. There is a smell, it smells like iron to me, but not too much, only if you sniff it.
It is applied easily, spreads quickly and is also absorbed, without any greasy feeling.
The serum contains the maximum effective amount of vitamin C 20%, its pH is about 3, the most effective for LAA.
In addition, it contains synergistic vitamin E and ferulic acid.
This serum has only a positive effect on my skin - it is elastic, bright, acquires sleekness and shine. I did not observe any negative aspects, except, perhaps, the lack of effect on pigmentation. It’s not clear - 5% of laa has an effect, 20% does not.. It is advisable to use it in the evening, four to five drops are enough for the whole face.
I want to compare this serum with the vaunted Skinseuticals CEFerulic. True, I had it for a long time, about six years ago. I took it twice, and both times it came to me the color of champagne. I don’t believe the manufacturer when he claims that a serum that has changed its color can be used. Timeless also oxidizes, but it always arrives transparent and the color begins to change only after three months. CEFerulic becomes quite yellow within a month and a half, that is, oxidation is in full swing.
I showed how to make an analogue of CEFerulic using a proprietary recipe, if anyone is interested.
You can buy Timeless on the website, they ship to Russia or on eBay.

Bielenda Neuro Glicol + Vitamin C is a night serum with glycolic acid, vitamin C and the Botox-like peptide argireline.

The serum is a clear, slightly thick water. It is applied, distributed, and absorbed without difficulty, leaving behind a slightly sticky film, but comfortable. There is a smell, slightly sour.
Contains stable non-acidic vitamin C in the form of ethyl ascorbic acid, fat- and water-soluble. 2% of this vitamin, according to manufacturers, is comparable to 15% of the vitamin in the acidic form of LAA.
It also contains glycolic acid in an amount of 4.5%, which plays the role of a surface exfoliator (you can read more about acids), panthenol for calming and the Botox-like peptide argireline, which is not enough here)
The serum is comfortable, well tolerated, it may sting a little for beginners, but in general, no damage was noticed. It makes the skin smooth, with smoothed texture and pores, keeps my pigmentation “within limits”, and slightly exfoliates. Overall, I liked the product, the only thing is that it’s inconvenient for me to use it at night. You can read the full review
You can buy Bielenda products in some online stores or on eBay, but you need to be careful about the ingredients, especially creams, they often contain hydantoin.

InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum - serum with vitamin C

The texture of the serum is milky, very fluid. It spreads and is absorbed easily, leaving behind a kind of film that you want to cover with moisturizer. Smells like smoked meats.
Contains stable non-acidic vitamin C in the form of SAP. The serum is tinted, but there is no need to be afraid of this here; stable SAPs and MAPs live for approximately 8 months from the date of manufacture. Also contains ferulic acid and many natural botanical extracts that can give allergic reaction, you have to be careful here.
The serum is very soft, gentle, however, it gives the effect of smooth skin, soothes, and reduces redness. A great product to use in your morning routine. You can read the full review
iherb.com. In addition to this serum, I also had a product with niacinamide, you can read

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% - serum with 23% vitamin C and hyaluronic filler spheres.

This is not exactly a serum, but a suspension, that is, a suspension of powder in emollients. When applied to the skin, the powder is felt by some more strongly, by others not, for me personally it is in the comfort zone. When applied, you feel quite greasy, but the serum is applied and distributed easily and glides on. Three drops are enough for the entire face, otherwise there will be a feeling of a greenhouse on the skin.
It contains the acidic and active form of vitamin C - LAA, and in large quantities. There is no talk about pH here, since the product is anhydrous. The serum also contains dehydrated hyaluronic spheres, which, when further moisturizing is applied, expand into the skin, lifting it from the inside and providing additional hydration.
It didn’t work out for me with this serum, since I used it according to the usual scheme. The skin became clogged and became loose.
The serum needs an approach; it should be applied 2-3 times a week and used only at night. At the same time, pay sufficient attention to subsequent cleansing of the skin.
To be honest, I never fully used it, I threw it away - firstly, as soon as I smeared it a little too much, a red pimple immediately appeared, and secondly, it’s not always convenient for me to use the product in the evening because of tretinoin. Thirdly, practically undissolved powder of oxidized vitamin C is applied to the skin, since it is actually water-soluble, and I don’t know what reaction to expect from it. The girls found a way out of the situation - first spray their face with hydrosol or water, then apply serum.

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone - serum with vitamin C 30% in silicone.

The second time for the same rake, as they say. For some reason you always want more of everything, although you know perfectly well that the best is the enemy of the good.
After the first serum from the brand, I swore off taking high doses of vitamin C, but no...
It has the same texture - a suspension, but the powder is not felt at all - the serum is pleasant and delicate.
It is applied and spread easily and simply, glides over the skin, is perfectly absorbed without a trace, leaving the skin matte. No grease, no films. At the same time, the serum does not sting the skin at all, only if it is on wounds, and does not irritate it, compared to its brother.
The composition still contains the same active acidic vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic Acid, but in an amount of 30%. There is no mention of pH, the form is anhydrous. There is nothing else here except silicones.
I can also use it 2-3 times a week and most often in the morning. I apply it, leave it on for a maximum of half an hour and wash it off, and the skin has to be cleansed quite intensively, otherwise the silicones remain a film.
This serum doesn’t spoil my skin like the first one, but I didn’t even try to use it every day. On the positive side, I can note that it evens out the color and texture really well, revitalizes the skin, that notorious glow appears with it, and I also noticed an effect, albeit a very small one, on the pigment. It smoothes out peeling very well when using tretinoin. But there is also a but - firstly, I am constantly tormented by doubts about how well vitamin C penetrates through silicone, because it oxidizes not only in light, but also in air. Secondly, while the serum is on my face, my skin becomes flabby before my eyes, covered with a network of wrinkles - everything goes away immediately after washing, the skin seems to be stretched, but the fact itself worries me. Overall, I don't feel comfortable using this product.
I haven’t written a full review of the product yet, perhaps in the future.
Reviews for other products of the brand can be read under the tag The Ordinary
You can buy the brand's products on the offsite, on asos.com, although there is not much choice there, on cultbeauty.co.uk - there is a 15% discount on your first order (to get it, you need to fill out a beauty profile) and free delivery.

To summarize. Earlier, I wrote somewhere that I want to completely give up vitamin C; I am inclined to believe that such a high antioxidant load is not needed by the skin and the body as a whole, moreover, it is harmful. But I decided not to be so categorical. But for myself, I made the following conclusions - I don’t need a high dose of vitamin C in the active form of LAA; if I take it, then, I think, an amount of 10-12% is more than enough. And most likely these will be ampoules, although fiddling with them is not always convenient.
The more stable forms of SAP and MAP and others are most preferable to me. They, of course, do not give such a bright effect as the sour form, but it still exists in the form of smooth skin with smoothed pores. You don’t need to monitor them as carefully as the sour form, you don’t need to constantly run to the refrigerator, you don’t need to look for containers and pour the product to reduce oxidation. And these forms are always easier to fit into your care, both in the evening and in the morning. It's been hanging in my head for six months now Timeless Hyaluronic Acid Vitamin C Serum with 5% vitamin C in the form of MAP, hyaluronic acid and matrixyl, that’s what I’ll most likely focus on, at least for now.

Thank you for your attention.

I think it’s no secret to many that vitamin E is very beneficial for the body: including improving wound healing and slowing down the aging process.

Therefore, from the variety of It’s skin formula 10 serums, I chose the one that contains Vitamin E:

Facial serum `IT`S SKIN` `POWER 10 FORMULA` with vitamin E

Vitamin E is a natural source of radiance and nutrition for your skin. This is a natural concentrate of antioxidants for tired skin of metropolitan residents.

Volume: 30 ml

Place of purchase: online store of Korean cosmetics (also sold in the Podruzhka chain of stores)

I really love using serums, and at the age of 30, I consider this product a must in facial skin care.

Texture:

The serum is gel-like and a little sticky.

The color is transparent with white inclusions, which dissolve on the skin and become invisible.

Smell: pleasant, noticeable, but as soon as the serum is absorbed, the smell of the cream covers it, so it doesn’t bother me at all.

MODE OF APPLICATION:

Apply with gentle massaging movements to cleansed face and neck. 2-3 drops are enough. Apply after toner. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of the reach of children. If irritation occurs, stop use immediately. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C.

The volume that is captured with one click of the pipette is enough for my face and neck; in fact, it’s even one drop.

In a month of use, I’ve spent almost a third, but I don’t use it regularly - I alternate it with another serum.

After cleansing the skin, I apply serum, followed by cream. Great for later application of a night mask - I just love them.

I don’t use it on my eyelids; I always apply special creams to this delicate area.

COMPOUND:

Water, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Butylene Glycol, Polyglutamic Acid, Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenoxyethanol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Vegetable Oil, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA.

Impression:

I am very pleased with the serum!

This is already my second similar product from It’s skin, I’m always happy with the result and the price is completely justified, although it seems overpriced for the volume of 30 ml.

I notice that the serum dries out inflammation and really speeds up the healing of the skin.

Evens out and refreshes the complexion, giving the skin a rested look! Of course, regular use helps keep expression lines minimal.

The serum really works, so I confidently recommend it!

I’ll be happy to tell you about other cool products from the It’s skin brand:

I will be happy to answer your questions!
