Biochemistry tutor for medical students

The biochemistry exam is one of the main “horror stories” for medical students. Firstly, this is indeed a very complex discipline. Secondly, gaps in school knowledge of chemistry have an impact. It is not surprising that a large number of students at Moscow State Medical University, Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow State Medical University and other medical universities have a very poor understanding of biochemistry.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to “bypass” this discipline: all future doctors have to take a test or exam in biochemistry. And it's not just about formally passing the exam. A good knowledge of biochemistry will help in the future when studying other disciplines: physiology, pharmacology, etc.

If you do not remember the school chemistry course very well, if you previously had problems with general chemistry and organics, most likely, in the second year of study you will have problems with biochemistry.

I urge you: if you didn’t understand anything at the first lecture, if the first test was written with a bad mark, don’t expect miracles! The biochemistry exam will not pass “by itself”! Get help tutor and start practicing in September!

When should you contact a biochemistry tutor?

The earlier the better! In principle, I have considerable experience in saving students who have already failed one or two attempts at passing the exam. Of course, you can work in “first aid” mode and, in a few days of very intense work, try to reconstruct the material of an entire semester. Of course, you can cram at night, forget about breakfast, lunch and dinner, but why?

Why create a stressful situation for yourself (and your tutor!) if you can work calmly during the school year. If you have any problems, contact your teacher immediately! You are future doctors - there is no need to explain that any disease is more successfully treated at an early stage.

Call: 8-903-280-81-91. I will try to help you as quickly as possible.

What to do if you completely forget your school chemistry course?

Remember the basic concepts! Fast!

It is impossible to study biochemistry if you have difficulty distinguishing hydrogen from carbon. First you need to refresh your memory of the main points of “classical” chemistry, and only then move on to biochemistry. Naturally, doing this under the guidance of an experienced tutor is much easier than working alone.

By the way, I am ready to help those students who are just starting their studies at a medical university and have encountered problems while studying a course in general or bioorganic chemistry. If you need a tutor in these disciplines, call: 8-903-280-81-91.

How are your biochemistry classes organized: where are they held, how long do they last, are they held in groups or individually?

Basically, all this will depend on you.

We can practice at your home (office) or on “my territory.” I am ready to travel to any area of Moscow, including areas outside the Moscow Ring Road, and to the Moscow region. The easiest (and cheaper!) way is to work via Skype.

The standard duration of a lesson is two to three hours, but it can be increased in “stressful” situations, for example, if there are several days left before an exam or test in biochemistry.

Individual lessons are possible (this is more expensive!) and classes with a group of students (by the way, you can form a group yourself from your classmates).

In general, call (8-903-280-81-91) - I’ll tell you everything in detail!

What medical universities do you work with students from?

During my 17 years of practice, I was able to help students of Moscow State Medical University named after. Sechenov (MMA), Russian National Research Medical University named after. Pirogov (RGMU), MGMSU named after. Evdokimov (3rd medical), RUDN, Moscow State University. Lomonosov (Faculty of Fundamental Medicine). Among my students, not only those studying at Moscow universities, but Skype gives me the opportunity to work with students from other cities. In fact, biochemistry courses in all of the listed universities do not differ very much, although, naturally, each of them has its own specifics.

In recent years, Biochemistry, edited by Severin, has become virtually the standard textbook for medical students studying this discipline. The publication is deservedly popular: encyclopedic completeness and consideration of the latest scientific achievements are combined in this textbook with accessible presentation.

Naturally, you can use other manuals, for example, the textbook by T. T. Berezov and B. F. Korovkin intended for medical students.

I think biochemistry is too hard for me! No tutor will help here.

You know, I can’t remember a person for whom biochemistry would be easy. I think this is quite normal. Achieving any goal requires some effort. It doesn’t matter what you study: biochemistry, Japanese or helicopter control, you won’t get it “by itself” in your head. We need to work, make mistakes, work again if we want to achieve anything.

A professional biochemistry tutor can help you move faster, make fewer mistakes, and be more accepting of your own mistakes. But you need to understand a simple thing: a course of biochemistry cannot be dissolved in saline and injected into a vein, and the next morning you can wake up as a professional biochemist. YOUR efforts are the main component of success!

A short biochemistry test. Test yourself!

Spend a little time and take an online biochemistry test. Naturally, this test will not replace a “real” exam, but at least it will allow you to impartially assess your knowledge and level of preparation.

Naturally, no reference literature on biochemistry is allowed to be used during the test. Try to solve the proposed option within 40 minutes.

All tasks in the test, regardless of their difficulty, are graded equally. The maximum score is 10 points. If you score 9 - 10 points, this can be considered an excellent result; if the result is 3 or lower, alas, you have failed the “online exam” in biochemistry. I wish you success!

from 2,000 rub/hour course for exam and student. I explain clearly, “on fingers”, I involve the student in the learning process, loading them with intellectual work combined with positive emotions. Constant feedback and stimulation of student’s independent thinking. Building a scientific system of knowledge in the student’s head. Learning results: dozens of applicants who passed exams and tests and learned to think according to the logic of science/chemistry. And a lot of positive things, such as the joyful cry of a child: “Mom, I can solve problems myself!” Training is conducted according to the author’s methodology, developed on the basis of the ideas of domestic psychologists (Vygotsky, Leontiev and Galperin) about the zone of proximal development, activity theory of the psyche, internalization of social experience and the phased (or systematic) formation of mental actions. The use of this methodology for teaching, for example, the Unified State Exam allows you to: 1) increase the efficiency of training, 2) move from mechanical and tedious work on performing very similar tests to meaningful preparation based on the identified small number of types of tasks for each of the KIM tasks, 3) increase student motivation ,4) cover 100% of all possible types of Unified State Examination tasks (for example, there are only 3 types of calculation problems each, 39 and 40 of Part 2),5) increase the success of passing the exam (that is, those Unified State Examination points so necessary for admission), which is impossible to achieve using standard collections of KIM Unified State Exam options. And most importantly, when teaching any subjects using this method, the student’s thinking develops, he grows as a person.

I studied chemistry with Anatoly Fedorovich for half a year. During this short time, my knowledge has reached a fairly high level. Especially considering that Expand that before that I didn’t know chemistry at all. The classes were easy and interesting. The tutor explains well and clearly. He doesn’t just tell some things, but makes him think of them on his own, therefore, they are remembered better. The material is taught not only according to the school curriculum, but more extensively, which helps me a lot in my first year at university. Glad. that I prepared for the Unified State Exam with him, because I was able to pass the exam with good scores after studying for only half a year. All reviews (23)

I am a current graduate student at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, I have two higher educations, one of which is pedagogical. Currently working Expand at a private school. I specialize in medical training. My students entered Moscow State University (Faculty of Fundamental Medicine, Biology, Psychology), Moscow State Medical University named after. THEM. Sechenov, Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Russian National Research Medical University named after N. I. Pirogov. Best result of the Unified State Exam: 93 points in biology, 91 in chemistry. As a postgraduate activity, I conduct classes for 1st-2nd year students of natural science faculties.

A good young teacher, results-oriented. There is a lot of knowledge in chemistry and biology, which Anastasia Vladimirovna shares openly and with pleasure. Expand Assigns homework, discusses solutions and is always in touch. Due to the heavy personal workload of obtaining a candidate’s degree and a second higher education, it was not always possible to reschedule the class in advance, arrive on time, or go on Skype (if there was such an agreement). In general, an excellent and correct teacher who will mentally set your child up for the best and give good knowledge.
