For me personally, Yoo Shi Jin's character in the series is not praised. If he salutes in a scene, it's only because it's his job. As a soldier, saluting is a promise to protect and honor your family, your loved ones, and your friends—those you want to protect. This is how I see it. Since this is a romantic series, it is about love. About the love of other characters too. I can understand why people say that.
