Buckwheat porridge baby premium reviews. Bebi Premium Buckwheat porridge, dairy-free, low-allergenic, enriched with prebiotics

We started feeding dairy-free buckwheat porridge at about 5 months (by this time we were introduced to a mix of zucchini and cauliflower puree for lunch, which I prepared myself). In general, the pediatrician recommended us Heinz, Fleur Alpine and Malyutka cereals. But my husband went to the store to buy baby food, so we started our complementary feeding with Bebi Premium porridge.

Bebi Premium dairy-free buckwheat porridge is sold in 200g packs. We bought for 115 rubles; In general, the price is average on the market, not the most expensive porridge.

The bag of porridge has an adhesive clasp that can be used to close the bag to maintain the seal. This is not as convenient as, for example, the Malyutka packaging with a slider lock, but it’s better than nothing. The shelf life of the porridge after opening the bag is 3 weeks.

Contains:

Buckwheat, inulin, vitamins (retinol acetate, cholecalciferol, DL-alpha tocopherol acetate, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, L-ascorbic acid, Calcium D-pantothecate, folic acid, nicotinamide, phytomenadione, cyanocobalamin) and minerals (iron diphosphate, potassium iodide).

I was immediately interested in the unusual word inulin.

Inulin is organic matter from the group of polysaccharides, D-fructose polymer. Inulin is not digested digestive enzymes the human body and belongs to the group of dietary fibers. In this regard, it is used in medicine as a prebiotic. Serves as starting material for industrial production fructose. Source: Wikipedia [link]

In general, I came to the conclusion that inulin is a prebiotic sweetener.

Method for preparing porridge:

Everything is fast, simple and clear.

By the way, when I prepared the first porridge for complementary feeding for the very first time, I thought that the water would cool down to 50-60 degrees for half an hour. As it turned out, the water in the children's dishes cools down to required temperature in 5-7 minutes.

Here are my “helpers”:

My husband looks at me with a smile, but I always need measurement accuracy down to the gram and degree))

Bebi Premium dairy-free buckwheat porridge looks like this:

The color of the porridge is light, apparently from unroasted grains.

The porridge is prepared very quickly - it is mixed with water in a matter of seconds (like most porridges for baby food). And most importantly – NO LUMPS!!!

Although Bebi Premium porridge contains inulin (which, as I understand it, tastes sweet), I did not find the porridge to be sweet. I would say that the porridge is generally tasteless - I definitely didn’t feel the taste of buckwheat.

My daughter's and my experience.

The introduction of this complementary food did not work out for us, in particular, because my daughter did not particularly like the porridge. We ate this porridge for only 4 days and managed to reach 70g. But breakfast in the morning was delayed for half an hour even with these 70 grams.

The main reason why this porridge did not work for us was an allergic reaction. After Bebi Premium, my daughter’s cheeks were red!! (on a 10-point scale 8 out of 10) Usually the problem is solved by switching to products from another manufacturer. The next porridge we tried was milk-free buckwheat Malyutka, but there was also a reaction to it (by the way, about 5 out of 10, although Malyutka contains maltodextrin). Therefore, it is difficult to say what exactly my daughter had an allergic reaction to - to any components in the porridge (including the prebiotic inulin?), or to the buckwheat porridge itself. As a result, on the advice of our pediatrician, after two unsuccessful attempts to introduce buckwheat porridge into complementary foods, we successfully introduced sugar-free oatmeal (Fleur Alpine).

Of course, I was very surprised that we had an allergic reaction to buckwheat porridge, but as it turned out, this is not so uncommon. Two of my friends’ children also had an allergic reaction to buckwheat.

Eh, I’ve been thinking for a long time whether to recommend Bebi Premium porridge or not? In the end I decided that no, because... I myself will not purchase products from this brand again. Let me explain why. Firstly, it contains the “prebiotic sweetener” inulin. I decided that until a certain age I would not give my child foods with sugar, salt and various “tricky” ingredients. The simpler the composition, the better, the fewer possible allergic reactions, besides, there will always be time to feed the child both salty and sweet (I’m not imposing my position on anyone, I’m just sharing my opinion, because every mother has her own worldview on this matter). Thus, all porridges containing sugar do not pass my selection criteria. at the moment)). Secondly, my daughter didn’t particularly like this porridge; our breakfast took a very long time and was capricious. Regarding the allergic reaction, I think that such a reaction could have happened not specifically to Bebi Premium porridge, but to buckwheat in general, because after buckwheat dairy-free Baby my cheeks were also red. In any case, I am not categorical about this porridge. I don’t see anything wrong if a mother feeds her baby with Bebi Premium. All children are different, for some this porridge goes “with a bang!”, Unfortunately, it did not suit us for objective reasons.
