I rested in the OC "Sunny" from 09/21/2014 to 10/04/2014. The general impression is 2 weeks at the North Pole: cold in the room (main building) and canned food in abundance.

The room is nice, cozy, clean everywhere. But it’s cold, there’s simply nowhere to dry swimsuits after procedures. You can’t get dry on the balcony in September; the room without heating is damp and cold. All requests to include something were refused. I had to wear a damp swimsuit.

There are many children aged 3 MONTHS and older in the OC. But the children's room is closed and opens only from 20-40 to 21-20. The outdoor playground is also closed. Children have nowhere to play, noise is everywhere.... One can only dream of silence.

A wonderful pool with a waterfall and a geyser, but the smell of CHLORINE when opening the door to the pool negates all the positive emotions from visiting the pool.

Breathing exercises for everyone are held at 8-40, and breakfast at 8-30. If you want, breathe, if you want, eat breakfast. The exercise therapy prescribed to me was not carried out at all. “There are exercise machines,” is the answer from the gym workers. Only 3 days before departure, the vacationers notified me that exercise therapy was carried out once a day at 16-00 in the gym. Knowing that at 16-00 twice a week there is a bus to the hypermarket, the procedures will be prescribed for you at exactly this time. TOTAL: general impression of the medical center. staff - how to nicely kick you and do nothing...

We should especially talk about nutrition. The abundance of canned food (canned salad, cod liver, pickled cucumbers, tomatoes, canned corn and peas) in salads and side dishes in Belarus in the fall causes bewilderment. Can't you find potatoes and cabbage there in September? There were almost no dairy products. Kefir for the second dinner is a 1-liter bottle of kefir issued on Tuesday. There is always no custom menu available on Sunday and Monday. Juice cannot be taken out of the dining room. And they give it for breakfast and lunch in a common container: you pour it yourself and drink tea or juice for breakfast and lunch, or all at once, if it all fits into you. Fruits - two oranges, one kiwi and two apples in two weeks.

There is no exchange office or shop on site. And the promised bus twice a week to Brest may or may not happen.

We got to Solnechny in our car with our child (two and a half years old). There is a good guarded parking lot near the sanatorium; we did not worry about the car. In the cool non-summer months, especially if you are with a child, I recommend choosing a room in the main building, because there are medical offices, dining room, cinema and in general all the delights of civilization. That is, if you live in the main building, you won’t need to go outside again - there’s less chance of catching a cold.

We had a three-room suite in a separate cottage. I must say right away that the room is very good and spacious. With the exception of the steep stairs, which are dangerous for children, everything about it is great. Three rooms: living room and two bedrooms. The living room has a bar counter with a set of dishes and a kettle. Eat ironing board with an iron, air conditioning, which we did not use because the room was already cool. I liked the bathroom: it was warmer there than in other rooms, the floor was heated, the plumbing was modern. Nice shower. The only negative: the shower was not removed from the wall, which means it’s difficult to just rinse off, and you also have to wash your hair. In general, the room looks very decent, it is cleaned regularly, so we were satisfied.

Treatment is at a good level. The doctor prescribed us a sufficient number of procedures; we didn’t want anything more. Every day we went to the speleological chamber, underwent hypoxic therapy (breathed the so-called mountain air; the procedure takes 15 minutes, including a five-minute break), went to a procedure to prevent colds, for a massage. Every other day we visited the pearl baths and the swimming pool, which I would like to mention separately. It is very beautiful, modern, with clean warm water. There is no smell of bleach; the water is purified according to a different principle. There is a waterfall, a geyser, massage stands... In general, the whole family was delighted with the pool.

I would give a big minus for the food, which marred our vacation. The food itself may taste quite good, albeit dietary, but the portion size left much to be desired. Even I didn’t have enough to feel full (and I also had to feed the child, because there is no separate food for him), let alone my husband... The only thing that saved us was that we had our own car, and we could go to grocery store. And those who did not have their own transport had to wait for Thursday or Tuesday, when a free transfer to the Korona store was organized - there were a lot of people willing.

The territory at Solnechny seems to be nice - green soft grass, pine trees, fresh air, but there are also a few unpleasant things. Firstly, more than once we came across stray dogs, which I personally was very afraid of. Secondly, I didn’t like the view of unattractive abandoned buildings and construction sites, which, among other things, are quite noisy during the day. There is also an unfinished children's complex, which, of course, cannot be accessed. I hope it will work soon. In addition, there is a good children's room for children, but not everything is smooth here: for some reason it opens only in the evening, and very late - at half past eight! I don’t understand why this happens. Personally, at this time I put the child to bed.

Leisure activities here are not very varied, but there is: you can play table tennis on the cozy open veranda, read a book (available), rent chess or checkers. You can even take a fishing rod if you wish. There is a modern gym, my husband went sometimes and liked it. Every day for two hours in the herbal bar you can drink delicious tea as prescribed by a doctor and an oxygen cocktail. Excursions are also organized - boat trips, Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Brest Fortress. Unfortunately, the required number of people is not always available, and excursions are often cancelled. In general, if not for the food, the holiday would have been very successful.

I don’t regret that I went, but we won’t return to this sanatorium again - it’s a little expensive, we’ll look for other options.

I was on vacation at Solnechny with my sister and two nieces (6 and 8 years old), spent two weeks there. The impressions from the holiday were good, although there were some shortcomings. The number of rooms is very good - everywhere is clean, tidy, comfortable, the furniture is modern, the appliances function perfectly! There are no noisy entertainment facilities from which music could be heard at night, so we slept wonderfully. They clean every day, in general, many thanks to the staff for their friendliness and attentive attitude!

Special thanks to sports instructor Sergei - he organized daily sports games for children, the kids simply adored it! The food is good, everything is very tasty, and the children were happy to be given extra if they wanted. The sanatorium has a very nice swimming pool with clean warm water. Both adults and children enjoyed swimming there. The only remark: I would like separate changing rooms for men and women, it is very inconvenient in this regard.

It was also disappointing that the bus to Brest runs only twice a week, and you have less than two hours to walk around the city. I highly recommend taking a walk, Brest is worth it! I was especially impressed by Sovetskaya Street, I think those who have seen it will understand me. I advise you to go to “Caramel” - a wonderful dessert bar. We went back and forth by taxi several times and did not regret the money spent. And everyone else little advice: before going to Solnechny, put more money on the phone, because there is no place to top up your account in the sanatorium itself, you need to do it in the city, and, as I already wrote, you can’t get there for free every day.

My wife and I drove our own car and were met at Solnechny New Year and Christmas. I think we will return to this sanatorium again, not for the holidays, but for treatment - it is very good here. There are many procedures, everyone is usually prescribed speleotherapy, mountain air, inhalations, light therapy, massage (including massage couch), water procedures, magnetic therapy. Procedures are carried out in the main building, there is also a dining room and living rooms. We lived in a cottage, the rooms there are luxurious: three rooms, a balcony, a spacious bathroom with a shower and heated floors, comfortable new furniture, a TV, a refrigerator, a bar counter with dishes, air conditioning, a kettle, a microwave.

Near each cottage there is a gazebo, and you can cook barbecue, which we did once. I wasn’t thrilled with the food - it was dietary, and I didn’t get very full, but my wife, on the contrary, liked it. But we must pay tribute: the products were all fresh, of high quality, there were no stomach problems. The area is beautiful, well-groomed, and you can ride bicycles around it. There is a picturesque clean river nearby. Since we came to new year holidays, they organized a wonderful program for us. A holiday was also organized for the children - they were delighted. Well, I would like to say thank you to all the employees of the sanatorium - wonderful, good-natured people, it was very pleasant to communicate with them. We approached the administrator a couple of times with a request to buy something for us in the city - they helped us without any problems. I really enjoyed my vacation and hope to be able to go again soon.

Excellent work of the medical staff, this is the only plus. But meat mayonnaise salads for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus only pickled and canned vegetables. Construction site nearby. For children over 4 years old there is no entertainment at all except bicycles.
