There are eight rehabilitation and educational institutions in Moscow, where favorable conditions have been created for the training and education of citizens with disabilities. Currently, more than two thousand disabled children are studying there, including more than 300 in vocational training programs.

One of the most popular centers for vocational rehabilitation is “Crafts” in Zelenograd. Pottery, woodworking, textile and printing workshops conduct individual and group classes for disabled people aged 14 to 45 years, there are also early development groups (from three years old), summer children's camps and other areas. In 2016, more than 1,500 people used the center’s services.

The Scientific and Practical Rehabilitation Center also provides training in popular creative and technical specialties - painting, design, landscape construction, publishing, document flow, economics, law and so on. This year more than 300 people are studying here.

All types of assistance: rest and treatment, sports and training

Rehabilitation of disabled people includes psychological, medical and legal assistance, career guidance and training in popular specialties, physical education, sports and different kinds therapy. There are more than 100 government institutions involved in rehabilitation in Moscow, mainly based in territorial centers social services. According to the results of the first three quarters of this year, more than 41 thousand people used their services. On December 6, the Central House of Artists will gather disabled children and orphans for the traditional, seventh charity event “Tree of Wishes.” The guys will meet celebrities, take part in master classes, complete the “The Path of Goodness” quest and, of course, receive gifts. This meeting can be considered a kind of rehearsal for the New Year.

On December 7, at the State Central Concert Hall "Russia" in Luzhniki, the winners of the annual competition "City for All" will be awarded, and representatives will also be celebrated public organizations that contribute social integration disabled people. Driving school for disabled people in Moscow
