III. Solving a learning problem.

Medicinal plants have been known to man since ancient times. People noticed that animals greedily ate some plants. And the man gradually began to collect these herbs and dry them. By collecting fruits, roots and herbs, a person tried to use them to get rid of the suffering that various diseases caused him. People passed on information about such plants from generation to generation and composed legends and myths about them. Even in big cities such as Moscow and Saint Petersburg They planted so-called PHARMACEUTICAL GARDENS, where they grew various medicinal plants to be treated with them. Medicinal plants are called GREEN PHARMACY.

Let's return to our goal, what have we learned? (history of the emergence of medicinal plants)(self-assessment is carried out at each stage of the lesson. On a daisy with 5 petals received in advance and when each stage is consolidated, the petal is painted green, yellow or red)

What is our next step? (let’s find out what medicinal plants there are)

I suggest working in groups. Discuss medicinal plants from home medicine cabinets, try to put it on a plate:

Name

application

Examination. Self-assessment of your activities. (petal)

What do you think about all the medicinal plants? (No)

Why? (we don’t know much yet)

How will we treat sick animals? (we need to find out more)

How can we find out? (in adults, from a textbook, from books, from the Internet, etc.)

I suggest opening the textbook.

Read the names of the plants.

I prepared it for you interesting information- I was thinking about how to surprise you so that you would want to learn more about medicinal plants - and I found a LEGEND.

-What is a legend? (story, legend about some event) Sit down more comfortably. I found a legend about a plant -medicinal mother-and stepmother.

-Who is mother? (woman in relation to her children)

-Who is this stepmother? (father's wife in relation to his children, step-mother)

One evil woman planned to destroy her husband’s daughter because she didn’t want him to go meet her and his ex-wife. She lured her to a cliff and pushed her off it. Meanwhile, the mother, having discovered that the girl was missing, rushed to look for her, but was too late: the girl was no longer breathing. The mother rushed at the stepmother and, grappling, they flew to the bottom of the ravine. And the next day, its slopes were covered with a plant, the leaves of which were soft on one side and hard on the other, and small yellow flowers, reminiscent of the girl’s blond hair, rose above them.

Now let's open the workbooks. Here are examples of medicinal plants given in the textbook. You have to look at these samples and guess which parts are used for treatment

Liked? Self-assessment of your activities. (petal)

The popularity of herbal medicine does not fade with time. This is due to the fact that plants can really help in the prevention and treatment of many diseases.

Herbs for your home herbal medicine cabinet can be purchased at a regular pharmacy, or you can collect them yourself. It is important to remember that plants absorb exhaust gases well and absorb everything from the soil. harmful substances, therefore they cannot be collected within a modern metropolis, and especially near highways. Ideally, the place where they are collected should be in ecologically clean areas; a forest or your own garden will do if you are confident that they are “environmentally friendly”.

It is useful to have chamomile, nettle, linden, bird cherry, rose hips and a number of other herbal remedies in your home medicine cabinet.

Chamomile officinalis

An excellent antiseptic, eliminates intestinal colic, helps with colds. Chamomile infusion is prepared in the same way as infusions of many herbs: 1 tablespoon of chopped chamomile is poured into 1 glass of boiling water, infused for 20 to 40 minutes and filtered. Chamomile is used both externally and internally.

When you have a cold, gargle with chamomile (4-5 times a day). Chamomile infusion is drunk for pain in the abdomen, stomach, and given for colic in children.

In cosmetology, chamomile infusion is used for:

  • cleansing and toning the skin, improving complexion;
  • disinfection and healing of small wounds;

Then you can repeat the course of fortification. Nettle tea is tasty and healthy to brew with leaves of strawberries, blueberries, lingonberries, as well as with rowan berries, both red and chokeberry.

Bird cherry, thanks to its high content of phytoncides, is an excellent antiseptic. Its decoction (1 tablespoon poured into 1 glass of water, brought to a boil, infused for 40 minutes) is often used in folk medicine for conjunctivitis in the form of eye lotions.

Bird cherry is a popular remedy in complex treatment diseases of the genital area in both men and women: fibroids, fibroids, chlamydial and other infections, prostatitis. For colpitis in women, bird cherry infusion is used for douching.

Bird cherry berries contain many vitamins and organic acids. They have an astringent property, so they are often used for gastrointestinal disorders.

Measure is the key to successful treatment

When using herbal remedies, it is important to remember that they, like “real” medicines, can cause harm to the body if the rules for their use are not followed. Their overdose and the wrong combination of different herbs can be dangerous.

According to statistics, an adult gets a cold in different shapes from 2 to 4 times a year, and children – 2 times more. Herbal remedies can become not only an aid in treatment, but also an excellent prevention of ARVI.

Galina Filippova, general practitioner, candidate of medical sciences:“Treatment with medicinal plants should be prescribed by a herbalist who thoroughly knows all the characteristics of your body. Only in this case can you be sure that the effect of medicinal herbs will be exactly as you expect.”

Medicinal plants should be stored in a dry, cool and dark place. During long-term storage (more than three months) in canvas or cotton bags. Nowadays, when chemistry has become the ruler in medicine and cosmetology and we trust only it, it is worth taking a close look at the experience of traditional medicine. June and July are the most best months to prepare the components of your home green first aid kit. It is imperative to collect herbs on a dry, warm, sunny day. Do not mix the collected plants, keep them in separate containers.

When you get home, lay out everything you collected on a clean, dry towel or boards. Do not use newspaper for this; printing ink will ruin the grass. Dry herbs in the shade in a drafty place. If there is an attic - best place can not found.

To dry herbs, you can use the oven of a gas stove: you need to turn on a low flame, stir the herbs often and make sure that they do not dry out.
